Aunthenticity in creating content

Recently, I’ve been reevaluating my approach to Instagram and the type of content I share there. If I’m honest, the rhythm I had fallen into no longer felt authentic to me.
There’s so much emphasis on consistency, but the version of consistency I was following left little room for exploration, experimentation, or growth. A significant part of my creative process involves trying different versions, experimenting with composition, refining details, and allowing ideas to evolve naturally — and that takes time.
I’ve also realised that developing a personal style requires space: space to practise, to research, to make mistakes, and to discover new ways of creating. Without that, I found myself repeating the same work over and over again.
So recently, I decided to post less and create more — without the constant pressure of sharing everything immediately. Simply exploring for the sake of creating again. And honestly, I’m enjoying my work far more because of it.
This doesn’t mean I’m stepping away from Instagram. It just means I want to focus on creating less, but creating with more intention.
